Catching Up With Brandon Contratto and Jonathan Juliano

The Port Huron Prowlers are proud to announce the return of Brandon Contratto and Jonathan Juliano for the 2020-21 FPHL season. Our very own Jeremy Skiba caught up with both players to see how quarantine has treated the players and to get to know a little bit more about them.

Brandon Contratto:

Q: What have you been doing to stay active/busy during quarantine?

A: Trying to play as much golf as possible, working around the house and staying in shape by using my home gym.

Q: What are you looking forward to most about this upcoming season?

A: I’m looking forward to being able to play a full season for the Prowlers and make a deep playoff run to finish what we had going this past year.

Q: If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

A: Chicken and rice preferably from chipotle.

Q: What’s your favorite type of music?

A: Country.

Q: If you had to spend the entire quarantine with one teammate who would it be?

A: Zach Zulkanycz. The whole quarantine would be spent telling old hockey stories and debating the best hockey gear.

Jonathan Juliano:

Q: What have you been doing to stay active/busy during quarantine?

A: I’ve been just working from home, riding my peloton friends, and doing projects around the house.

Q: What are you looking forward to most about this upcoming season?

A: I'm looking forward to practicing with the guys and winning a championship.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

A: Chili dogs from national Coney Island. There’s nothing better anytime of the year.

Q: Who’s your favorite actress or supermodel?

A: My favorite supermodel would be my wife because saying anyone else would get me in trouble.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: Anything I can watch with my kids.

Q: If you had to spend the entire quarantine with one teammate who would it be?

A: The one teammate would be Dalton Jay so I can teach him how to skate and score goals.
