Dalton Jay Named FPHL's December Player of the Month

The FPHL announced Friday that Prowlers’ forward Dalton Jay was named the league’s player of the month for December. This is the first monthly award for Port Huron this season.

Jay scored 13 times in 13 games during December and added 14 assists for 27 points. His 22 goals lead the FPHL. Jay is also second in the league with 44 points and is riding a 22-game point streak dating back to Oct. 28.

The seventh-year pro leads his team in all three categories. Earlier this season, he reached 300 career games played and 200 career goals in the FPHL. He sits top five in team history in games played (3rd with 248), goals (1st with 182), assists (2nd with 191) and points (1st with 373).

Jay leads the Prowlers on the road against the Binghamton Black Bears on Jan. 6 and 7. Both games start at 7 P.M. and are available live on the Port Huron Prowlers YouTube channel.
