FORWARD BRANDEN PARKHOUSE RE-SIGNS WITH THE PROWLERS

The Port Huron Prowlers have re-signed forward Branden Parkhouse for the 2017-2018 season. A Rancho Cucamonga native, Parkhouse spent last season with the Prowlers recording 31 goals and 51 assists in 56 games and was third in the league in points (83), assists, and game winning goals (8). A Becker college graduate, he turning pro in 2013 and spent time in the FHL, SPHL, ECHL and played two seasons in Slovakia.

"Last season in Port Huron was one of the most enjoyable years of hockey in my entire life. The city, the people and fans, the staff, and most of all my teammates made it truly an amazing season. I’m looking forward to getting back and taking it all in again. Unfortunately we did not do as well as we all had hoped but that just means we will have more to prove this next year. As a team I think we are going to have a very talented and tough roster this season that will make us one of the hardest teams to play in the league. Personally my goals for the upcoming season are to; first and foremost just enjoy myself and my season, to be a good leader and veteran for everyone in the room, and to do everything I can to help my teammates and the entire organization get as many wins as possible, including winning that final game of the season and hoisting a cup. We still have a few months to go til we all get back and started, so for now I’m just going to enjoy the California weather, keep up with my summer training, plus get as much golf in as I can," says Parkhouse.

Number seventeen and the rest of the Prowlers will be back in action at McMorran on Friday, November 10th as they take on the North Shore Knights!
