Lukas Lacny Re-Signs For Third Season
The Port Huron Prowlers have announced another returner up front in winger Lukas Lacny. The Slovak is coming back for his third season in Port Huron.
Last season, Lacny played in a career-high 47 games and put up 16 goals and 27 assists for 43 points. Five of his goals came on the power play and three were game winners. He also sent a team-high 194 shots on net. The 25-year-old added a goal and an assist in six playoff games and was a +4 in the postseason.
“We are excited to have Lacny back for a third season,” said Prowlers general manager Matt Graham. “He is an awesome teammate and a lethal goal scorer. He has the ability to impact the game all over the ice and his impact on the game will directly correlate to the success of the team. We know he is going to take another step in his development, and we can’t wait to get underway.”
Through two career FPHL campaigns, Lacny has 36 goals and 90 points in 77 games including 14 power play goals. Before joining Port Huron, the 25-year-old spent 4 years in Slovakia’s top two pro leagues and won the Slovenská hokejová liga championship in 2022-23 with HC 19 Humenné.
“I’m really excited to be coming back to Port Huron,” Lacny said. “Every game at McMorran has been amazing. We have the best fans in the league and the people in Port Huron deserve a Commissioner’s Cup. I believe next year we’re gonna be even better than last season and we’ll be working hard for one thing; bring the cup to Port Huron! So buy your season tickets and enjoy the ride!”
