Port Huron Adds Defenseman Meirs Moore

The Port Huron Prowlers have announced the signing of defenseman Meirs Moore ahead of their series against the Minnesota Northern Lights. The 31-year-old last played in 2023-24 when he won an SPHL championship with the Peoria Rivermen.

Moore split that season between the Rivermen and Pensacola Ice Flyers and totaled 12 points in 49 games during the regular season. He added three goals in six playoff games en route to the title.

Moore sandwiched two seasons in Sweden between his two in the SPHL. He also appeared in six career ECHL games. Moore played NCAA DI hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2015-19.

The Prowlers visit the Northern Lights on Nov. 6 and 7 with both games streamed live on the PHP Network YouTube channel.
