From Riga, Latvia, Ozolins started his FHL career with the Danville Dashers in 2013-2014 before splitting the 2014-2015 season between Danville, Dayton, and Steel City. In 47 games with the River Drivers last season Ozolins had 3 goals and 12 assists for a total of 15 points. In three seasons in the FHL he has played 148 games, more than any other European player in this league. "I am looking forward to playing for Coach Pace again, who coached me my rookie year, and playing with many guys I've played with and against over the years. I love the arena and all the exciting things that take place on and off the ice during games and the effort the team gives every night. I will bring team support, a good attitude, work ethic and a smile to the locker room" says Ozolins.
