Prowlers Deal Two to Fresno

The Port Huron Prowlers have announced a trade with the Fresno Falcons to send the rights to Houston Wilson out west. Wilson expressed an interest to play in California. The Prowlers also included the rights to John Larkin.

“While we would have liked to add Houston to our group, ultimately, there were other factors that made it difficult for us to put together the right fit without making changes to the core group we have already built. We feel very strongly about the core of this team, and believe in the guys that are returning and we have added.

“Larkin was a huge addition at the end of the season last year, and played some big minutes for us in the playoffs. Ultimately, he decided that he was going to pursue a career in his field of study, and we wish him nothing but the best!

“The financial considerations sent back to us allow us to reinvest back into the group in other ways, including some locker room upgrades. Our focus is to continue putting together the right group of players and creating the best environment for them to have success.” 

Wilson was selected by the Prowlers in the Pee Dee dispersal draft. Larkin signed with Port Huron as a collegiate player near the end of last season.
