Prowlers Return Goaltender Jameson Bourque

The Port Huron Prowlers have announced the return of goaltender Jameson Bourque for 2026-27. The 25-year-old was a rookie last season.

“We’re excited to bring Jamo back,” said Prowlers associate head coach Chris Paulin. “What he brings to the group, on and off the ice is extremely valuable. We have a very ‘team first’ standard here in Port Huron. Jamo meets that standard on a daily basis and helps set the tone for the group. He has had a great summer of training and we’re excited to see him battle every single day.”

Bourque signed with Port Huron in November and made five appearances including two starts. He finished 0-2-1 with a 3.73 goals-against average and .866 save percentage. The Weare, New Hampshire native finished the season on IR.

“I’m really excited to be back, Bourque said. “Last season ended with a bit of a sour taste for this group. We know the steps we need to take for a better outcome this year. Not only for ourselves, but for the fans and the city of Port Huron.”

Before turning pro, Bourque played three years of NCAA DIII hockey at Plymouth State University, where he was a teammate of current Prowler Brett Lockhart. He began his college career at New England College.
